
FIFA have announced the four seeding pots for the 2018 World Cup finals following Peru’s playoff win over New Zealand on Thursday.
The Peruvians secured a 2-0 aggregate win over the All Whites this week to lock up the final qualifying spot for next year’s Russia showpiece.
And, world football’s governing body have revealed the pots for the footballing spectacular, based on the October 2017 edition of the FIFA World Rankings, while Russia are a top seed due to their billing as host nation.
